What is Invisalign Treatment?

Invisalign is the process of wearing a series of clear removable aligners to gradually straighten your teeth and correct your bite over time, thus eliminating the need for traditional brackets and wires to protect your smile like with metal braces.

How Does it Work?

  • patient getting 3D scan of her mouth
If Invisalign is determined to be the right treatment for you we will start by taking a 3D scan of your mouth using our Itero machine.
  • Dr. Blake creating a treatment plan
Our doctors will then create a customized digital treatment plan called a clincheck, that specifically maps out the exact movements they want to achieve for your teeth.
  • woman holding invisalign tray in her hand
Once your clincheck is approved by our doctors, Invisalign will fabricate a series of plastic trays that you will wear to apply the right amount of force, to the right place at the right time to create your smile.
  • Dr. Blake checking out the progress of the teeth movement
You will meet with our doctors periodically throughout your Invisalign treatment to make sure your teeth are tracking with your treatment plan and your aligners are fitting as they should.

It usually takes two to three rounds of trays to reach the finish line, but once your Invisalign treatment is complete you will have a smile worth celebrating.
