Kristin Fixmer

When Kristin moved to Kingwood she would go on an early morning run route that wound through our parking lot. It’s as if the universe itself was directing her to start her days here! Kristin graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science and is also an RDA. To her, orthodontics is an endlessly fascinating combination of science and art. She loves meeting new people, gets a nerdy joy from dental science, and excels at walking our patients through the orthodontic process.

Kristin and her husband, Travis, have been married for 16 years and have four children. She bustles around to all her kids’ swim and cross country meets, volleyball and soccer games, choir and orchestra concerts, and theater productions. In her pre-dental career, Kristin worked as a food blogger and on-air cooking segment host for a PBS show! The kitchen is her restorative place and you can bet solid money that if she’s not here or at her kids’ functions, she’s in the kitchen. She loves early morning workouts, playing the piano and singing, the Kingwood greenbelts, and sour candies.
